- If you want to add something beside the story, then consider character profiles. It's nice to have a card or page showing the informations about the characters in the story. Like name, age, birthplace, favorite food, relation with the main protagonist and/or the other characters. Also a picture or picture gallery is nice. The gallery could consist of pictures which have to be unlocked during the story. Most people love collecting stuff in games, so if they can unlock photos of their favorite characters most will try to get them all. Source.
- I used to work in an eroge company, this one time we did a survey and found out most players actually wanted better writing, world building, characters, it was a surprise for all of us but judging previous top games like fate or dies irae it makes a lot of sense, at least for this specific market a lot of people only want erotic scenes when and were they make sense.
